Description
This fun event in Louisville, can be as competitive or leisurely as you like. There will be 2 wave starts; the 1st for competitive runners with and without dogs and 2nd for walkers, strollers, joggers, etc. The race/walk will be on the Coal Creek Trail, sure fun for you and your dog. After the 5K stick around for vendors such as pet sitters, massages, healthy treats, a bath, educational expos for kids and all the current labs available for adoption from the Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue.

Please note - each runner is allowed to be accompanied by a MAXIMUM of 2 (two) dogs each. If you don't want to participate in the 5K, please come enjoy the fair! Registration is only required for the 5K. The registration fee includes your 5K race and an event-sponsored, moisture wicking t-shirt. All proceeds go to RMLR! This event is being hosted by Centaurus High School DECA and the Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue. Come not only support the Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue, but help support Centaurus High School too!

This is a one loop course on the scenic Zip Shuttle path around the FlatIron Crossing Mall. You can also use your time in this race to be seeded in the top 22 waves of the 2009 BolderBOULDER.

Bring the whole family to City Park for a fun filled event and tons of fun. Whether running for a personal goal or walking with the stroller this course is all about Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Sis, and the rest of the family.

Parking is available on the surface lots of the Zoo and Natural Science Museums.

There will be many award divisions for all competitors as well as special Mother's Day prizes and give-aways. Qi Fitness will offer Denver's Best Warm-up before the run. The Colfax Business Community will have their doors open with specials all weekend. And Denver's largest park will be ready to impress! Denver Zoo is offering buy-one-get-one-free to all Runners; we also have a Family Migration Package! City Park is located just east of Downtown. This is a nice run for city residents seeking a scenic jog in the Mile High City. The park is home to the Denver Zoo, the Denver Museum of Science and History, and the city golf course. This is an enjoyable loop, shaded by many old trees.

The Run For Remembrance is a 5K race that will include a competitive run and also a 5K Walk/Run. Proceeds will be donated to Craig Hospital and the Columbine Memorial. The race will begin in front of Columbine High School and proceed through Clement Park and around Johnson Reservoir. Medals will given to the top three runners in each category. Race packets and T-shirts may be picked up the week before the race at CHS (3:00 - 4:00), or the morning of the race.

Description

ALL Ages and Abilities Welcome! Come run/walk on the historic Meyers Ranch. These trails are not open to the public everyday. Enjoy the serenity of the mountains and the uniqueness of untouched trails! Race entry fee is only $20. All proceeds benefit the Mountain Peace Shelter, a shelter assisting women, children and pets escape violence at home. The shelter serves the mountain communities of the Hwy 285 corridor.

Drop off registrations (check only please) can be completed at Raven's Tavern (25577 Conifer Rd, Conifer) or at the race on race day. We can only accept credit cards on Active.com and only until June 7th. There will be a 1K Kids Fun Run for elementary and middle school aged kids. There is a $5 entry fee for the 1k Kids Fun Run. Registration for the 1k Kids Fun Run will be day of event only. The 1k Kids Fun Run begins at 9:00am at Raven's Tavern and Restaurant. Please email us with questions about the 1K Kids Fun Run. Please leave you fury friends at home as registration and awards will be held inside Ravens Tavern. Please note that this is NOT a stroller friendly course. Thank you!

The 4th Annual Miles for Smiles 5K Run/Walk will be on May 23, 2010 at 9 a.m. The race is being held at Broomfield Commons Park. The scenic course is mostly on open space trails and has a beautiful view of the mountains. The race will start and end at the all purpose turf field in the middle Broomfield Commons. The race benefits the Two Angels Foundation, a foundation that helps provide adaptive recreational equipment to physically disabled children in Colorado.

This is a Bolder Boulder qualifying race. Prizes for the top 3 male and female runners in age groups 12 and under, 13-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over will receive awards, as well as the top male and female runner.

The out-and-back 5K course will start and finish on the north side of Horizon High School, cross Holly Street, and follow the Horizon Tributary Trail past picturesque ponds and wetlands, and through adjoining neighborhoods.
